In the lower right-hand corner of the screen, you’ll see the game mode. Besides, it will be set to default as “Solo.” There are total Six Game Modes of Fortnite.

Solo: In this mode, one player competes with 99 other solo players. You can Battle it out on your own.

Duos: Two players can play this game. You can play this mode by Pairing up with your friend or Random Player.

Playground: Here you can use Playground mode whenever you want to practice with weapons. Here, in this mode, the environment will be of low-pressure with massive structure build.

Squads: This mode Contain 25 Squads in which each team consists of four members. So you will need three friends or random players.

If you want to download Fortnite on a laptop, then I suggest you visit the official Fortnite website and click on download at the right upper corner and then select your device. Now, register yourself to download the game and after downloading you can install and later launch the game.

You have to select “Battle Royale” from the available left-hand menu. Now, You’ll find yourself in the lobby. Once you’re in the lobby, you have to choose your game mode.

Controls of Fortnite on Laptop

Here I will tell you all the keyboard and mouse controls whenever you try to play Fortnite on Laptop:

Run/sprint: press Shift button to Run.

Jump: To jump press the Spacebar or Up arrow.

Pick up items: Pick weapons and resources for yourself.

Crouch down: Press Ctrl key to crouch your player.

Fire: Use Left button of the mouse to fire the gun.

Reload Now, press R key to reload the gun.

Aim down sight: Right button of your mouse to set aim at your opponent.

Change weapons: You can change weapons by scrolling wheel on the mouse.

Building slots: So, Fortnite on a laptop is a game of building. You can do so using keys from F1 to F4.

Rotate building structure: You can rotate the construction of building using the R key.

1. Practice for 60 Seconds

Click on “play” whenever you are ready to play the game. Initially, Fortnite will load  in a holding area which is known as “Spawn Island.” Moreover, you can practice as much as you want by picking up weapons, ammo, and building materials.

So, after a minute you will find yourself with 99 other random players. Moreover, you won’t be able to take all those items that you have collected on the spawn Island into the game itself.

2. Flying on the Battle Bus

After you finish with your practice on the spawn Island for a minute in the spawn island, you’ll automatically find yourself onto the “Battle Bus.” Moreover, It flies with your player in the air and transports you across the map. It will inform you that when you can jump into the game.

Moreover, you can use the spacebar key on the keyboard of your laptop to jump. If you want to slow down your descent, you need to press space key again to use your hand glider.

3. On the ground

When you land on the ground, you try to find weapons and resources, and at the same time, you have to save yourself from getting killed by your opponents. However, if any opponent eliminates you, then you have two options.

Moreover, You can continue to spectate your opponent’s game from their perspective, or you can quit and start a new game. By doing so, you can analyze your opponent’s gameplay and strategy.

Later you can apply them in your gameplay to get a victory. Moreover, you can check whether your opponent eliminated you by using cheat tools.

4. Staying out of the Zone

If you are in the match for some time, then an indicator pop up will be visible. It will inform you whether the zone is shrinking. Now, check your Map and go to a safe area inside the circle.

Moreover, by staying outside the safe zone, your health will decrease. Most players eliminate by waiting outside of the region. Overtime zone gets smaller and forces you to stay in small spaces. One player who left standing gets the victory Royale.

I tried Fortnite a battle Royale game first time on my PC when Fortnite released its first season. However, it was a low-end Laptop. But still, I had a great experience. Fortnite helped me in improving my creativity level because of its construction concept.

Although Fortnite faces tough competition from pubg, still I would say that Pubg focuses on killing whereas the main focus of Fortnite is creativity.
