1). Launch the Skype app.

3). Click on your username or profile icon that you see at the top right corner of the screen, and then you will see My account option on the drop-down menu, click on it and scroll down to the section that says Contact details and finally click on the edit profile button.

1). Firstly, Open Skype.com from any browser that you have installed.

2). Then Locate your username on the top-right corner of the page and click on it.

3). Moreover, You will see a drop-down menu where you will have to click on My Account button.

4). Now Click on Edit profile button which is located at the bottom left or bottom right of the screen.

5). You have to click the edit profile button.

1). Open a web browser and type Skype.com.

2). Click your name in the top right corner of your web browser.

3). Click My account from the drop-down menu that appears with your name.

4). Locate edit profile which is at the bottom left and bottom right of your web browser.

5). Change your name.

6). Finally, Click on the save button so that you can save your new display name.

Change Display Name Using Smartphones

1). Launch the Skype app in your smartphone.

2). Tap your Skype profile image with a green circle(which means that the user is Online) at the top of the page.

3). Locate your display name, and you will have an edit button along with it.

4). Click on the edit button to change your display name.

5). In the Meantime, Enter a new name.

6). Finally, Click on done to make sure that the new Display name is saved.

If you have an embarrassing username and you want to change skype name but the problem is that Changing the username is very difficult because they are created by their employer. Therefore, if you want to make any changes to your username, then you should contact your employer.
